What is paywitty?

Paywitty is a true one page ecommerce platform that allows buyers to shop multiple items intuitively and checkout on that same page. Instagram users can also add to cart by just commenting while payment processing is secured with Stripe.

How does Paywitty work?

Step 1 – Sign in to Paywitty with your Instagram Business Account or just your email.
Step 2 – Add your products from your dashboard or you can do same via Instagram by adding “@yourstorehandle #selling #product name #xx.xxUSD” to caption or comment section.
Step 3 – Receive orders via your Fast Checkout link and sell your product.

What types of businesses or individuals are eligible to use Paywitty?

Registered and unregistered businesses are eligible to use Paywitty, including startups, retail businesses, and individuals who want to sell to customers right within Instagram.

PAYMENT

How do I as a Seller get paid?

Create or connect your existing Stripe account. Paywitty takes a 3% of each transaction and then transfers the remaining amount into any bank of your choice.

I don't have a Stripe account

That's ok. When signing up for Paywitty, the process will handle it for you and Stripe will open an account for you.

Why do I need a Stripe account?

With a Stripe account, we can process credit cards and ensure the payments are deposited directly into your account while giving security and comfort to the buyer and yourself.

What are the fees associated with Paywitty?

No monthly fees or listing fees. Paywitty simply charges a flat 3% transaction processing fee on a per sale basis. Please note that Paywitty transaction fees does not include Stripe processing fee usually 2.9% + 0.30USD.

Is Paywitty secure enough for my customers’ card details?

Paywitty is totally secure with data encryption, SSL certificates, 24/7 monitoring and other myriad methods to keep you totally covered. Paywitty features payments by Stripe for security and ease of use. We never require your Stripe password, and we never see your Instagram passwords. Security is a huge issue online. That’s why we make sure that the payment gateway meets PCI DSS requirements. And has advanced risk tools with firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure credit card data storage. Buyers can securely pay for your products using stripe or any major credit/debit card.

Order & Returns

How do I place an Order?

Just visit the link provided by any of our merchants on the social media. This gives you an option of Fast Checkout. You can select your items, add them to cart and checkout, all in one page.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

You can do this by logging in to your Paywitty account, under the "My Account > Orders" menu, you will see your list of orders and you can cancel them.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as guest. However for convenience of checkout, we will recommend you create an account.

How Do I Track My Order?

On the Paywitty home page, you will see "Track order" in the top navigation bar. Every order's tracking number is displayed when you placed the order. You will also receive the same via email.

How Can I Return a Product?

This depends on the merchant's return policy. Please confirm this with them before you make a purchase. There are only two parties involved in payment process from beginning to the end — Buyer and Seller.

In case of dispute?

We never hold your payments. After you make a sale, you’ll instantly receive the money in your Stripe account. Easily track your sales & orders from your Paywitty dashboard. There is a dispute resolution process through which you can respond and submit evidence to make your case that the payment was valid. If the dispute is found in your favor, the disputed amount and fee is returned back to you. If a dispute is upheld, the card issuer’s decision is final and the cardholder’s payment remains refunded.
